Subject to the implementation progress of the Fourth Generation Mobilising System (4GMS), the CAP will facilitate the following duties relatedto the 4GMS implementation:

• To assist in managing the implementation and maintenance of network infrastructure, system infrastructure and server technologies in a complex mission-critical system environment that consists of different technology domains including, but not limited to, Wired and Wireless Data Network (e.g. Cisco and Ruckus), Network Firewall, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) (e.g. Fortigate and CheckPoint), Network Load Balancer, Forward and Reverse Proxy, SSL/VPN Gateway, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools
  
• To assist in evaluation of the design, implementation, configuration, patching, testing, maintenance as well as disaster recovery drill of the system infrastructure by the Contractor
  
• To assist in selection of appropriate products for the development and maintenance of IT infrastructure
  
• To provide technical support services on various IT systems and infrastructure, either on-site, by email or on phone
  
• To assist in monitoring of daily operations and project executions within the Infrastructure Team to ensure compliance with organizational regulations, standards, policies, and guidelines of the Government of HKSAR
  
• To assist in preparation of system documentation including installation and configuration guide, administration and operation guide, system architecture and design specification, Proof-of-Concept evaluation, etc.
  
• To assist in conducting administrative tasks and support activities as requested to monitor and govern the implementation and maintenance of system infrastructure by the contractor for 4GMS. Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and best practices
  
• To carry out necessary tasks related to the existing mobilizing system to ensure a smooth transition to the 4GMS
  
• To undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

• Bachelor's degree awarded by a post-secondary institution in Hong Kong, including but not limited to the eight University Grants Committee funded universities in Hong Kong, or a bachelor's degree awarded by an overseas university or a polytechnic in the UK, the USA, Canada, New Zealand or Australia; or an accredited associate degree or a higher diploma in information technology from a Hong Kong or overseas tertiary education institute
  
• At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
  
• At least 1 year of working experience as an Analyst Programmer
  
• Experience in supporting or implementing IT infrastructure system
  
• Experience in supporting or implementing complex large-scale LAN/WAN network infrastructure across multiple sites will be an advantage
  
• Hands-on experiences on implementation & support of the following networking products will be an advantage:
  
  • - Cisco ASR Router and Catalyst Switch
    
  • - Check Point and Fortigate firewall products
    
  • - A10 Thunder ADC
    
• Possess certification in related to the network equipment specified, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA), Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE), or equivalent will be an advantage
  
• Good in both spoken and written Cantonese and English
