Duties

Oversee the operations of CMMP Security Operation Centre (SOC), managing and coordinating with security service contractors to ensure reliable and secure operations of the CMMP infrastructure and services
Develop and maintain policies and procedures for SOC operations, aligning them with industry standards, frameworks and best practices
Work with stakeholders and security service contractors to optimise and enhance the SOC functions, including threat hunting, threat detection, threat intelligent integration, SOC playbooks development, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform optimisation etc.
Collaborate with stakeholders and contractors on responding to, investigating and analysing security incidents
Collaborate with vendors and security team to implement security alerts, monitoring and regular system health checks
Keep up-to-date with the latest threats, vulnerabilities, mitigation and industry best practices
Ensure that the deliverables are complied with government requirements
Perform IT project management and vendor management
Work outside office hours and provide on-call production support
Perform any work assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification IT experience, in which includes a minimum of 2 years of working experience in project management
Proven track record of work experience in managing large scale infrastructure (200+ Virtual Machines) and mission critical systems within a sizable organisation
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Security
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure management, IT Operations and IT System Monitoring
Minimum of 4 years of experience in vendor management
Minimum of 3 years of experience in SOC management or development
Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in SIEM tools such as Elasticsearch, Splunk, Trellix, QRadar
Familiarity with newer and emerging monitoring products is highly preferred
Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in threat intelligence integration
Valid certificate holder of Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Professional (CISP) is required
Certificate holder of Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly preferred
Certificate holder of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is preferred
Certificate holder of Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) is preferred
Knowledge and experience in working with/in the Government is preferred
Fluent verbal and written communication in both Chinese and English is preferred
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
