The proposed staff shall take a leading role for the relocation of server farm and system virtualisation as well as the related maintenance. Job duties include but not limited to:

• Monitor and supervise the relocation and maintenance of the overall IT infrastructure on server farm and system virtualisation
  
• Provide support for application services running 24 x 7 around the clock, and ensure prompt and accurate resolution in case of issues encountered
  
• Perform proactive maintenance such as overseeing system performance, managing application and infrastructure support service providers and vendors on performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning and expansion, implementation of patches and hot fixes
  
• Responsible to create systems and services, on a technical infrastructure which supports business demands, that are resilient, secure and highly available
• Responsible for tender preparation for new system projects and renewal of system maintenance services
• Responsible for implementation of technical part of project plans
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for the supported services
• Provide support services outside office hour as required
• Ensure the overall IT infrastructure follow the government IT infrastructure standards, interoperability framework and best practices
• Ensure the IT infrastructure is compliance with the IT security policy and standards
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors

• Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
  
• At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
  
• At least 2 years of working experience as a Systems Analyst
  
• The proposed staff must have working experience in:
  
  • Implementation and maintenance for server farm and system virtualisation project
    
  • Hands-on and professional competency on vCenter, VMware, Fortinet, Pulse Secure, MS Windows Server, Oracle and etc.
    
• Good communication skills
  
• Good command of Chinese and English
  
• Well-developed problem-solving skills and root cause analysis skills
  
• Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro-active, fast learning and good team player
  
• Working at remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required
  
• Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required
  
• The job requires the following mandatory skills:
  
  • 3 years x Infrastructure, Network & System Management, Server Virtualisation Technology, Coordination and Project Management
    
  • 2 years x IT Procurement
    
  • 1 year x IT Operational Management
