Duties

To supervise the Network Team in performing risk analysis, implementing effective controls to be commensurate with the risks of cyber-attacks and data leakage and handling any cyber-attack security and data leakage incidents
To coordinate and arrange cyber and data security reviews on the IT systems
To be fully aware of cyber and data security alerts and provide timely advice to project teams and users
To promote cyber and data security awareness training to users
To implement and manage IT security projects, measures and controls against cyber-attacks and data leakage
To keep abreast of development and application of new IT technologies and best practices relating to cyber security and data security
To support general operation and assist in the enhancement projects of Departmental network and IT infrastructure
To monitor systems, servers and network performance to ensure the Departmental network is running in a stable and secure status
To configure and manage network routers, switches, and other networking equipment and its peripherals
To carry out day-to-day LAN administration jobs and trouble shoot faulty or abnormal workstations
To supervise and lead the Network Team to prepare regular review report and escalate vulnerable issues relating to IT security to seniors
To Implement IT policy and guidelines to ensure all IT activities performed in accordance with the required IT security protocols and requirements
To carry out any other duties as assigned by the senior officers

Requirements

Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
At least 6 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
At least 2 years of working experience as a Senior Systems Analyst
Recent IT working experience in Government;
Obtained at least one of the following certificates relating to IT security:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or
- Certified Information Security Professional (CISP); or
- Certified Information Security Member (CISM)
Obtained at least one of the following certificates relating to IT network:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or
- Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA)
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 3 years x IT Security, Network & System Management and Security Incident Detection and Handling
- 1.5 years x Work experience with/in the Government, Experience in Managing Government IT Standards, Experience in Managing Government Projects and Project Management
