Duties

Research, evaluate, emerging cloud and latest server / networking / storage / firewall / security technologies.
Leading and managing vendors and/or contractors for relevant development projects
Advise and liaise with stakeholders on project development initiation and on computer-related activities
Configure, maintain, diagnose, analyze, and resolve network problems and security vulnerabilities encountered during/after network implementation tasks
Construct network diagram and system flow-chart
Prepare guidelines and procedures for the operation and maintenance tasks
Design and test backup / restore procedure
Provide technical documentation and support on conducting Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SRAA)
Analyze and follow the related IT regulations, policies, and guidelines of HKSARG
Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data storage and retrieval systems that support AI model training and testing processes
Assist in the procurement processes of IT products and services
Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors

Requirements

Degree in Computer subjects or IT related disciplines
At least four (4) years post-qualification information technology experience of which 2 years must be in similar post and in comparable capacity
At least two (2) years in network infrastructure/system support, operate and maintain, preferably with solid experience in enterprise network project design, implementation and manage, also the management of Contractor/Vendor
At least one (1) year knowledge and experience in managing cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, HuaWei, etc.
At least one (1) year knowledge and experience in managing application systems using container deployment, such as Docker and Kubernetes
At least one (1) year knowledge and experience in managing virtualization environment such as VMware or HyperV
Solid experience in Linux and system administration is a must
Strong knowledge and experience in server resilient technology and infrastructure design
Possession of Cloud related professional / Networking / Virtualization / Security certifications is an advantage
Strong commitment to project deadline and delivering high quality work
Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsible and well-organized
Good communication skills in English and Cantonese
Good interpersonal relationship and emotion management
Satisfactory result in the written test on the interview day (if necessary)
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 2 years x Infrastructure, IT Security, Linux System Administration, Network Design and Networking
- 1 year x Internet Firewall Technical Support, Network & System Management, Server Virtualisation Technology and Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
