Duties

The integrated Court Case Management System (iCMS) is a web-based e-system implemented in phases to streamline and standardize electronic court processes across different levels of courts. To enhance access to justice, electronic technology is introduced as an additional option to the existing channels. The candidate will be required to perform the below tasks

  • Provide technical support to iCMS and PC hardware connected
  • Provide technical support to document scanning kiosk in the Resource Centre
  • Provide technical support to ticketing system in the Resource Centre
  • Conduct daily health checks on iCMS
  • Identify user reported issues and escalate them to responsible parties
  • Provide a helpline for answering HC user inquiries
  • Perform adhoc support tasks related to iCMS (e.g. workstation setup for briefings to external stakeholders, user training, etc.)
  • Work in a dynamic and supportive environment with a small team on a shift basis.

Requirements

  • Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language, in the HKDSE, OR
  • Level 2 / Grade E or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B before 2007), in the HKCEE, OR
  • Diploma/Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of working experience as an IT Assistant
  • The candidate shall have general knowledge of AV/IT systems and familiarity with barcode scanners and printers
  • He/She shall have at least one year's experience in AV/IT system support and maintenance
  • He/She shall have good knowledge on computer equipment, ability to work independently, and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Preference will be given to those who have experience in hardware installation and troubleshooting skill
  • He/She shall have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and good command of English to communicate with Judge and Judicial Officers
  • The job requires the following mandatory skills:
    • 2 years x PC LAN Support, System Implementation and Maintenance/Support and Windows 7/8/10
