Duties

  • To provide helpdesk support of IT systems, including the handling of query/incident reported from users and undertake the daily support of IT systems
  • To provide remote support on software configuration and customization to workstation, such as Lotus Notes / Outlook client installation and administration, anti-virus and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) software setup, office suites support and Windows platforms (Windows 10 and Windows 11) support
  • To perform on-site technical support on hardware/software installation, relocation work of systems (PC, monitors, printers, barcode readers and etc), OS image cloning, software or application programs installation
  • To assist in project rollout such as contractor co-ordination, accessories installation, PC data migration, data erasure activities, on-site standby support and etc.
  • To perform daily health-check on the IT systems, and Data Centre monitoring and tidy up
  • To perform computer inventory taking and audit exercise in various office

Requirements

  • Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language, in the HKDSE, OR
  • Level 2 / Grade E or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B before 2007), in the HKCEE, OR
  • Diploma/Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of working experience as an IT Assistant
  • Experience in PC with Windows environment
  • Experience in customer support in technical aspect is an advantage
  • Work in various location is required
  • Overtime work, irregular hours work and work on Sat/Sun are required when necessary
  • The job requires the following mandatory skills:
    • 2 years x  PC LAN Support and Windows 7/8/10
