Duties

To analyse, design, implement, monitor, optimise, and manage the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure for 26C Information Technology (IT) System adopting cloud and virtualisation technologies. The job duties include, but not limited to, the following:
- To design, build and test the production, development, testing and disaster recovery platforms for 26C IT System
- To deploy/migrate application systems to various platforms of 26C IT System in serving business needs
- To liaise with in-house technical teams and service contractors, including those assigned by relevant government bureaux and departments, on the setting up and support of application systems hosted on premise and on cloud including, but not limited to, the Government Cloud
- To closely monitor and maintain the healthiness of IT infrastructure including hardware and software, and to manage system and data security
- To take lead in investigation and troubleshooting in case of production and security incident, if any
- To manage anti-virus software and the deployment of software updates and virus definitions
- To carry out quality control and quality assurance as designated by the project manager
- To follow up recommendations provided by Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SRAA) contractors
- Candidate(s) may be required to travel to C&SD's sub-offices and/or other Government premises to provide technical support and may be required to work on weekends / public holidays during operations and system maintenance periods

Requirements

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 6 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
At least 5 years of working experience as a Senior Systems Analyst
Technical knowledge and solid working experience in the management of servers, tape libraries and uninterruptible power supplies from various brands and models
Technical knowledge and solid working experience in Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization environment, Microsoft Security Compliance Manager and Windows Server Update Services
Technical knowledge and solid working experience in VMware virtualisation environment including proficiency in VMware vCenter 6 or above, VMware vSphere 6 or above, VMware vSAN 6 or above and VMware vRealize Suite
Technical knowledge and solid working experience in Windows Server 2012 / 2012 R2, 2016, 2019 and 2022
Solid working experience in Microsoft Active Directory administration in Windows Server 2012 / 2012 R2 / 2016 / 2019 / 2022 domain levels, especially in Read-only Domain Controller and Group Policy Management
Solid working experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Failover Cluster administration in Windows Server 2012 / 2012 R2 / 2016 / 2019 / 2022
Solid working experience in server management through the use of Microsoft System Center 2012 / 2012 R2 / 2016 / 2019 / 2022, with hands-on technical skills on System Center Configuration Manager, System Center Operations Manager and System Center Virtual Machine Manager
Solid working experience in server management through the use of Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) and Windows Certificate Authority
Knowledge and solid working experience in conducting system analysis and design, systems programming and software testing
Experience in feasibility / technical studies and team leading / supervision
The job requires the following mandatory skills:

- 5 years x Data/File Backup Technology and Disaster Recovery Planning
- 4 years x IT Security and IT Security Scanning Tools
- 3 years x Microsoft Active Directory Administration
- 2 years x Anti-Virus Technology, Data Encryption Technology, Network & System Management, Security Risk Assessment and Audit, Work experience with/in the Government, Knowledge in Gov't Procurement/Disposal Procedures, Management and Support of Gov't Systems & Services and Vendor Management
