Duties

  • To provide help desk and on-site support
  • To provide system monitoring and operating work
  • To assist in IT equipment setup, rollout and configuration
  • To assist in testing and verification of application system functions
  • To provide assistance on site preparation / computer inventory
  • To assist in daily administration tasks as requested
  • To carry out other project-related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language, in the HKDSE, OR
  • Level 2 / Grade E or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B before 2007), in the HKCEE, OR
  • Diploma/Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of working experience as an IT Assistant
  • Good experience in Helpdesk;
  • Good experience in Windows, network operation, PC/LAN, CMMP and CERKS support services;
  • Good experience in supporting inventory management;
  • Good knowledge in Windows upgrade;
  • Good communicationl skills;
  • May be required to work outside normal office hours including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays as and when required; and
    Mainly working at Admiralty, will occasionally work at remote offices at Wong Chuk Hang, Chek Lap Kok or other offices as and when required.
  • The job requires the following mandatory skills:
    • 3 years x Office Automation, PC LAN Support and Windows 7/8/10
    • 2 years x Anti-Virus Technology and Confidential Mail System
    • 1 year x Work experience with/in the Government and Helpdesk Call Handling Technique
