Duties

Develop, implement and maintain IT infrastructures, frontend and backend interface for the systems / platforms, data center, cloud services and migration, big data analysis, IoT support, network monitoring and video analytics platform for the support of illegal disposal of waste
Conduct IT-related procurement, including preparation and technical assessment of tender documents, and managing of outsourcing works/services in conjunction with other government Bureaus / Departments
Support and manage IT systems on Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS) environment
Review vendors' supporting services, change procedure, incident escalation and services quality
Assist ITM on daily operation and technical support
Other Job-related Requirements: The hours and venues of work may be varied having regard to the operational needs of the department, including work outdoors or on board

Requirements

Degree in Information Technology , Computer Science or related discipline, awarded by a university in Hong Kong; or a degree awarded by an overseas education institution to a Hong Kong resident, equivalent or above
At least six years' post-qualification information technology experience of which two years must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity
Proficient in project management, government procurement and system maintenance
Hands-on technical and deployment experience for onsite and remote premise, data center and cloud service
Experience in managing Internet of Things such as smart surveillance camera systems, GPS device and frontend monitoring unit of illegal disposal waste
Experience in conducting big data analysis, security evaluation, and services quality assurance on system evaluation. Proficiency in government security and personal data privacy policy
Manage IT services management processes including Incident, Change, Capacity and Asset management
GPS system such as ArcGIS and Google Map are preferable
Good analytical mind and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical skills and ability to derive insights from large amounts of data
Experience on use of Business Intelligence tools is preferred
The job requires the following mandatory skills:
- 3 years x Network & System Management and System Implementation and Maintenance/Support
- 1.5 years x Information Security Management
- 1 year x Exp. in Managing Corporate IT Security Framework and Project Management
