To support in business analysis and review of existing data processing/operation workflow of the office, including:

• Support the internal project team in business analysis and review to understand the overall geospatial data processing and operation workflow of different internal systems
  
• Coordinate with different government B/Ds, the consultants/contractors and internal parties for routine operation
  
• Conduct appropriate tests to assure and verify the quality of the works (mainly on the data issues) by the consultants/contractors, and supervise the consultants/contractors to rectify their works to meet the contractual requirements
  
• Participate in user acceptance test and other system tests
  
• Manipulate and interpret spatial and non-spatial datasets to deliver reports and actionable insights to the management
  
• Prepare use cases and presentation slides/videos on the use of spatial and open data
  
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Holder of a degree awarded by a university in Hong Kong or a degree awarded by an overseas education institution to a Hong Kong resident, or equivalent
  
• The degree shall be related to Computer Science, Data Analytics, Geo-informatics, Geographic Information Science, or equivalent
  
• At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification working experience
  
• At least 1 year of working experience as a Programmer
  
• Be able to work independently under tight deadlines and work on multiple tasks and projects
  
• Have practical experience in data modelling and management, e.g. Python, SQL, Java
  
• Have extensive knowledge in use of Geographic Information System (GIS) (e.g. ArcGIS and/or QGIS) and data analytics, visualization and reporting suite/software (e.g. Tableau and/or 
  
• Have knowledge in spatial data standards, spatial data infrastructure and data interoperability, and processing of spatial data to support application development will be an advantage
  
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English, and be capable of effective communication with foreign consultants/experts
  
• The job requires the following mandatory skills:
  
  • 1 year x Data Modeling, Data Management, Geographic Information System, Intensive Exposure of Spoken English in Work and Intensive Exposure in Written English
